Among the Foundation’s chief concerns is the use of digital tools to advance and augment democracy. For this reason, we organized the 3DCON World Conference on Digital Direct Democracy, with more than 200 people in attendance from more than fifteen countries on three continents. This initiative was the departure point for the formation of work groups engaged with the problems brought to light at 3DCON and examined in its Political-Digital Manifesto.

Created by the FLSC, together with the Pontifical Foundation Scholas Ocurrentes, and presented to the world in May of 2021 by Pope Francis, the Fratelli Tutti School of Politics is an innovative educational endeavor that invites young people to come together to create a new, open, innovative, and cooperative political language from the global and local perspective with a focus on promoting the Common Good.
Politics has been rendered banal by self-serving politicians who have corrupted politics, taking it from the hands of its rightful owners, the citizenry. But politics and politicians are two different things.
Politics must recover its essence as the art of making the necessary possible for the common good of the citizenry. Allowing a select few to serve others must be a privilege.
For this reason, we have created what we call Humanítica, which is the exact opposite of politics as practiced by politicians today.
Humanítica is the humanization of politics.
It means leading with the head, but without losing heart.
It means speaking less and listening more.
It means feeling human pain and doing what is necessary to relieve it.

It means focusing on the happiness of people and in that way helping build a better world for all.
